Since 2015, he has been the mechanic for top World Championship drivers such as John McPhee, Alexis Masbou, Albert Arenas, Patrik Pulkkinen, Kaito Toba, Sam Lowes, Mike Di Meglio and Marco Bezzecchi, a young Italian prodigy spotted and supported by the great Valentino Rossi.

Simon finished 3rd in the 2018 World Championship alongside Marco Bezzecchi and won the EWC Endurance World Championship in 2022 with the Honda HRC team.
